Nigel Howlett

Gloucestershire, UK

I’m one of the early CRM and digital pioneers, having leveraged ‘Big’ Data to develop ground breaking loyalty and relationship marketing programs, and innovative analytics and technology solutions that transformed the way brands invest in their customers and consumers.

My career within the marketing services sector has spanned more than 25 years, 18 of those at a global executive team level. At OgilvyOne Worldwide I was a member of the global executive team that founded and grew that business. As Global EVP for consulting and strategic development, I influenced Ogilvy’s rapid expansion into digital communications and analytics.

I then spent over 6 years at President of IRI Worldwide, a global leader in business insight and big data analytics serving the consumer goods, healthcare and retail industries.

These days I work closely with innovative businesses in the predictive analytics and data-drive marketing arenas. I hold chairman roles with TribeCX, Warwick Analytical Software and Cyance B2B Marketing. I’m also an advisor to a range of clients including regional and global private equity forms.

Key CX Achievements:
  1. Despite the severe economic downturn in Europe after the economic crisis of 2008, I led the IRI International team to continuously grew revenues and nearly doubled profits prior to the sale of the business to new investors in 2011. New ground breaking technology and analytics solutions fuelled much of this success.
  2. Voted by ‘Precision Marketing’ readers in 2008 as one of the top ‘movers and shakers’ in the direct to customer/consumer communications industry.
  3. Secured lead position in industry league tables with OgilvyOne London coming top of the UK Relationship Marketing Agency league table in 2002.
  4. More than tripled the revenues of OgilvyOne worldwide London during the period 1996-2002.
